THE THIRD ANNUAL UNSUNG HERO AWARD
PRESENTED TO FRANK BUZZELLI
AT THE APRIL 21, 2009 MEETING
Of The SLCCV New England Club
We have in our Village many people who quietly give of themselves.   One such individual was honored on April 21 by the New England Club.

Frank Buzzelli has been chosen for our third Unsung Hero Award.  His name was submitted by many members.  Some of Frank's contributions include the following:

** Co-founded  the Computer Club, teaches the Beginner Class and co-leads the Intermediate Class as well as helping individuals in the Village with their computer and television problems.

** Co-founded our Website over a decade ago and manages many of its current  features.

** For the Neighbors-Helping-Neighbors Emergency Plan, he has set up a computer in the Longevity Center that could take over the website in the event of a serious hurricane and provide important information on conditions to residents and relatives.

** Has provided leadership in developing and maintaining the H.O.A. financial system, as well as oversaw the full development of the computerized financial system.

** Frank was responsible for running the Canteen for several years and has taken on leadership on many occasions to reequip and refurbish the canteen and to insure that appropriate financial records are kept.

**In the past decade, Frank has played a key role in getting effective sound equipment and speakers in the auditorium and is also active in maintaining that system and in using it for many events.

Thank you, Frank, for "making our Village a better place to live".
